01 · Ordering & samples

Getting started.

QDo you have a minimum order quantity?

No fixed MOQ to start. Volume pricing benchmarks at 500 pcs per design. Pilot orders from 50 pcs are welcome at standard rates — many buyers test a small order before committing to larger programs.

QHow do I request a sample?

Email st@sheeltexindia.com or use the Bulk Order page. Send: company, country, the SKU or tearsheet, target quantity. Samples ship in 7–14 days; first-time samples are charged at production rate and refunded against your first PI of 100 pcs+.

QCan I order from photos in your blog or social media?

Yes — pass us the post URL or photo and we’ll match it to the SKU or design family. If it was a one-off prototype, we re-sample it for you in 14 days.

QWhat’s the smallest order you’ve shipped?

50 pieces of a single design as a pilot run, on standard catalogue items. Custom designs typically need 200 pcs+ to make the production setup economic for both sides.

02 · Production & custom

How things get made.

QWhat’s your lead time after PI confirmation?

3–4 weeks for standard catalogue designs. 5–6 weeks for custom designs (includes pre-production sample approval). Real-time WhatsApp + email updates at weaving, dyeing, and packing stages.

QCan you replicate a competitor’s product or a tearsheet?

If it’s a public design family (boho, kilim, Persian-inspired, jute weaves), yes — that’s most of what we do. We don’t replicate copyrighted artwork or proprietary patterns — bring us inspiration, we’ll design original.

QWhat’s your custom-design fee?

Zero on a confirmed production order. We absorb the design + sampling cost when you commit to the run. For sample-only orders without commitment, the design work is charged at hourly rate, quoted upfront.

QDo you white-label / private-label?

Yes, every order. Custom packaging, your hangtags, your care labels, retail-ready cartons. Specify at PI stage; no surcharge.

QCan I send my own yarn / fibre?

Yes for orders 1,000 pcs+ and with a confirmed material spec. We charge production-only rates in that case; you ship the yarn to our Panipat facility CIF.

03 · Shipping & logistics

How it gets to you.

QWhat incoterms do you offer?

FOB Mundra / Nhava Sheva is our default. CIF available to most destinations; DDP on request — we coordinate forwarder, customs, and last-mile delivery.

QTransit times by region?

USA East 28–35 days · USA West 25–32 days · Europe 22–28 days · UAE 12–18 days · Japan 21–28 days · Australia 24–30 days. From FOB date. Add 7–10 days for inland trucking at destination.

QWhat if items arrive damaged?

Notify us within 7 days of container arrival with photos + tally sheet. We replace at no charge in your next shipment, or issue credit note. Insurance covers in-transit damage when shipped CIF.

QDo you ship samples internationally?

Yes — DHL / FedEx, at cost, billed upfront. 5–7 business days to most destinations. We can ship under your DHL account if you prefer.

04 · Payments & invoicing

How invoicing works.

QWhat payment methods do you accept?

Wire transfer (TT), Letter of Credit at sight, and PayPal for samples + orders under USD 2,000.

QWhat’s the payment split?

Standard: 30% advance on signed PI, 70% against scanned B/L copy before container release. For repeat buyers on annual contracts, terms can move to 100% against B/L.

QWhich currencies do you invoice in?

USD, EUR, GBP, JPY, AUD, INR, CAD. Pricing locked at the PI exchange rate.

QCan you issue proforma invoices for letter-of-credit opening?

Yes — full PI with bank details, shipment milestones, partial-shipment clauses, transhipment terms, and presentation period. We work with most major Indian banks for LC negotiation.

05 · Sustainability & certs

The compliance side.

QWhat certifications can you provide?

OEKO-TEX Standard 100 dyes · GOTS organic cotton + jute · AZO-free natural-dye recipes · BIS where relevant for India. Carbon-neutral shipping certificate available on request via our forwarder.

QDo you have a no-child-labour policy?

Yes. Audited supply chain, in-house production only (no subcontracting), partnership with local schools and authorities to keep kids in education. Compliance letter on letterhead provided with every shipment on request.

QWhat’s your environmental policy?

OEKO-TEX dyes, GOTS-certified cotton and jute options, AZO-free mordants, on-site wastewater treatment, daylight + LED-only lighting on the workshop floor. Carbon-neutral shipping available.

06 · Working with us

The relationship.

QHow do I visit your workshop or showroom?

Workshop in Panipat · Export office in Delhi · Showroom in Noida. Buyer visits Mon–Sat, by appointment. We arrange airport pickup from Delhi IGI and accommodation if needed.

QDo you sign NDAs and exclusivity agreements?

Yes for both. Mutual NDA standard before pricing on custom programs. Exclusivity (region, channel, or design) negotiated at PI stage on volume commitments.
